| Much of Colonel Grey's past is shrouded in mystery. He earned his reputation as a fearsome (and feared) crime fighter on the streets of New York City as a freelance vigilante, but went legitimate in 1985 when The Lawmen Agency approached him with an offer he couldn't refuse. He served the Justice Department with distinction, and played a crucial role in defusing the standoff between The Lawmen and the rogue super powered group known as The Vigilantes in Washington D.C. in 1989. Due mainly to the controversy surrounding his career in New York City, he was appointed to his current post in the NorthEast Sector. He still makes freqent trips to New York to consult with the East Central Chapter Office. |
