PRODIGY : Colonel Ted Cohen
Prodigy

"Heh, I kid you not..."

Colonel Cohen was born to a family of music teachers in Cleveland, Ohio. Shortly after his birth, his parents realized that they were not dealing with an ordinary baby, as he was able to form sentences at three months old, and had learned to read at a year's age. He also showed a startling array of nascent psionic powers, such that he was able to keep his amazing abilities relatively quiet, desiring the safety and security of a familar home life. At age ten, he came to the realization that his psionic powers would fade and perhaps disappear with the onset of puberty, so at the age of eleven, he willed his body to stop aging, and hasn't physically grown a day older since then. He entered the realm of super powered law enforcement surreptitiously in the Sixties, bending his considerable intellect to assisting The Crusaders anonymously in solving a series of seemingly unsolvable crimes via letters written to the local F.B.I. office. Eventually, circumstances led to his going public in 1980, and he joined The Lawmen Agency at it's inception in 1981. In the 1990's, his keen mind as well as his charming and urbane personality, allowed him to play a major role in the founding of B.A.S.E. He currently serves in the Central office in St. Louis, but his influence is felt across all the regional chapters, as his innovative groundwork on B.A.S.E.net's computer systems, and his constant theoretical and tactical planning are gladly put to use by his colleagues.
