| The infamous geneticist Dr. Galen Rathys is wanted for crimes against nature and humanity in almost every country on Earth. Herptology and the study of poisons are his specialties, as well as splicing human DNA with various reptile species. Rathys first became known to the world as King Cobra in the late sixties, after establishing a private kingdom from a biological research station in the jungles of India, where he was stationed by the British Government. After being driven out by a combined team of Asian super powered agents and Britain's M15, he moved his operations to an island in the Indain ocean, where his daughter, Colonel Parvati Rathys of B.A.S.E., was born after undergoing genetic alteration at her father's hands. This was shut down by the U.S. military's Perseus Team after a tense hostage situation where he demanded national sovreignty in exchange for the lives of several prominent UN diplomats in 1972. He was subsequently vanished, and resurfaced in the United States in 1982, where he fought frequent battles with The Lawmen Agency. He is also known to be responsible for the creation of several super human menaces, the best known of which was the alligator/human hybrid Leatherback, who ran with The Predators in 1984. He was last seen in 1995 in an F.B.I. raid on a plantation in Louisiana where he was continuing his illegal experiments. He is known to have performed several gene spicing operaions on himself, and as far as is known continues to do so, so his catalog of super human powers is constantly changing.
