| Sources at B.E.I.N. confirm that Nemesis is a member of the Polaran race, a widespread, aggressive empire that has tread a thousand worlds under it's heel. It is only through the combined might of the Fomalhauti, the Arrodandan, and the Arcturan Alliance that they are kept from our sector of the universe. Thus the presence of a Polaran on Earth is cause for considerable alarm. Nemesis bears the rank and armor of what translates as a "Warrior Captain", who usually operate in large occupation forces, so her purpose here, and why she is alone, is unknown at this time. Her first confirmed appearance on Earth was in Boston, Massachusetts, as part of a team of super criminals who robbed an armored car convoy on Interstate 93. She managed to escape the scene with two million dollars worth of gold coins, after doing heavy damage to B.A.S.E. agents who had arrived to foil the robbery. She reappeared again two weeks later attempting to leave the New England area concealed in the trailer of a semi truck, but was tracked down by a joint B.A.S.E./B.E.I.N. operation and was captured in a large, destructive battle on Interstate 90, that caused a massive traffic accident. She is responsible for the death of a Massachusetts State Trooper in that exchange. Was remanded to a high security N.E.R.F. facility in Langley, Virginia, where she was reported to be a model prisoner, cooperating readily with xeno-sociologists and biologists there, up to the point of her violent escape a year later. Since then she has been sighted on several occasions that suggest a Southbound vector to her travels, but reports of her activities have been spotty at best. |
