| Robomaster first appeared on the scene in 1985 in a highly publicized attack on the Los Alamos research facility, using a combination of custom built robot killing machines and control devices that caused some of the most promising AI units currently under development to go renegade. His plans were thwarted by intervention from The Lawmen Agency and the army's Hercules Team , which at the time included B.A.S.E.'s Chief of Operations, C1(against whom Robomaster has subsequently developed a bitter vendetta.) It is currently believed he is a full body conversion cyborg, a human brain contained in an advanced robotic chassis of presumably his own design. The Lawmen are responsible for the destruction of at least three of his robotic bodies in different confrontations, and each time he reappears in a more insidious and powerful mechanical frame. Most of his criminal activites seem to be geared toward obtaining money or materials for his ongoing illicit robotic and cybernetic research. Robomaster is known in the super powered underground as a prime resource for advanced technology, a service for which he charges top dollar. He has not appeared in public for over five years, but his presence is still felt through his work for numerous super criminal clients. |
