This widespread organization find's its origins in Western
Europe during the Dark Ages, and next to the Demon Quellers
of Asia, is perhaps the oldest and largest society of its
kind in the world. The following are their basic tenets.

THE HIERONYMUS MANIFESTO:

1: Protect The Innocent
The people have enough to deal with in their lives without fear from the
supernatural. All humans deserve to live in peace, free from fear of
predation or damnation,regardless of gender, race, creed, or religion.

2: Defend All Those In Need
Since our earliest days we have smashed evil in the name of the common
good. We serve a beggar as readily as we serve an emporer. The beast
never howls at the gate of the palace. Yet wealth is no protection when
death comes calling. Our services are not for sale, but are given freely to all.

3: Accept Aid When It Is Offered
We do not regard ourselves as men and women of destiny, nor as the sole
defenders of humanity. We are here to accomplish a task, and any help in
the battle is welcome. Fight evil and chaos with whatever skill, strength, and
courage you posess, and you fight at our side.

4: Know Your Enemy
With understanding, fear and confusion is eliminated, taking away one of the
enemy's most powerful weapons. See your foe for what they are. Ignorance
creates monsters, and thus we stand against it.

5: Act In A Rational And Effective Fashion
The human intellect is our most powerful weapon. A well planned operation is
our right fist, and the ability to improvise is our left fist. Together they can
conquer the immense strength of the supernatural with ease.

6: Use Discernment
A strong sense of right and wrong is the strength from which we operate.
Prejudice is a flaw in thinking that can lead to disaster. We do not, and must
never, persecute those that are merely different. It is thru actions, not form,
that the beast makes itself known.

7: Destroy All Monsters
The agents of chaos abound now just as they did from the beginning,
and must be eliminated if we wish to go about our lives.
We seek to destroy the destroyers and the defilers, those that violate
the natural order to the detriment of their fellow beings.

in the MANIFESTO, any help in the battle is welcome.
